so i finally pulled the trigger on a pelican case cause im tired of my drone getting banged around in my backpack. looking at the 1400 or 1450 but not sure about the foam situation. do you guys cut your own foam or buy the pre-cut stuff? also wondering if theres enough room for extra batteries and all the usual accessories or if i should go bigger

1450 is the sweet spot for air 2s trust me. i cut my own foam using a kitchen knife and it worked out fine, just take your time. definitely fits the drone plus controller and 3 extra batteries with room for cables and stuff. the pre cut foam is expensive but if you dont want the hassle its worth it

just got a 1450 last month and love it. went with the pre-cut foam from pelican cause im lazy lol but it fits everything perfect. one thing though - its heavier than you think when fully loaded so keep that in mind if youre hiking with it. super protective though, already dropped it once and everything inside was fine
