ive been doing some side work shooting real estate photos and videos and my current setup just isnt cutting it anymore. using a mini 2 right now and while the 4k video is decent the photos are pretty soft and the dynamic range sucks when shooting into windows

been looking at maybe upgrading to something with a 1 inch sensor but man those prices get crazy fast. is the air 2s worth the jump or should i save up for something like a mavic 3. mostly doing exteriors and some interior shots through big windows

also wondering if anyone has experience with aftermarket camera mounts or if thats even worth considering

air 2s is a huge step up from the mini 2 for photo quality. that 1 inch sensor makes a real difference especially for real estate where you need good dynamic range. i shoot commercial stuff and its been solid for me, plus you can shoot raw which helps a lot in post

mavic 3 is better obviously but unless youre making serious money already the air 2s will handle 90% of what you need

dont bother with aftermarket camera stuff on consumer drones, the integration is never as good as the original. if youre serious about real estate photography you might want to look into manual camera settings and shooting in dlog or whatever flat profile your drone supports. makes a huge difference for those tricky lighting situations
