replaced a blown esc on my 7 inch long range build and now the fc wont arm. getting continuous beeping and betaflight is showing some error but cant remember exactly what it said

everything seems wired correctly, motors spin fine in betaflight motor tab, props off obviously. receiver is bound and showing stick inputs. battery voltage looks normal around 25.2v on 6s

this is driving me crazy, worked perfectly fine before the esc went bad. using a holybro kakute f7 if that matters. anyone run into this before

sounds like you might have a motor direction issue or the esc protocol isnt matching what the fc expects. did you flash the new esc with the same firmware/settings as the old one?

also check the cli tab in betaflight and type 'status' to see what the actual arming prevention reason is. usually tells you exactly whats wrong rather than guessing from the beeps

oh man i did this exact thing few months ago. spent 2 hours checking everything twice and turns out i had accidentally enabled the gps rescue feature in betaflight but didnt have a gps connected so it wouldnt arm

definitely check the status command like the other guy said, could be something completely unrelated to the esc replacement. also make sure you didnt bump any dip switches on the new esc when installing it
