mini 3 vs air 2s cant decide

  • Members

so ive been going back and forth on this for weeks now and its driving me crazy. the mini 3 seems awesome for portability but then i keep seeing people say the air 2s camera is way better. i do alot of hiking and backpacking so weight matters but i also want decent video quality for youtube stuff. anyone have experience with both? the price difference isnt really a huge deal for me just want to make the right choice

honestly depends what kind of youtube content your making. if its just travel vlogs and scenic shots the mini 3 is perfectly fine, ive got some great footage with mine. but if you want that really cinematic look the air 2s sensor is noticeably better especially in lower light. i switched from mini 2 to air 2s last year and dont regret it even though i miss how tiny the mini was

i went with the mini 3 for similar reasons and love it. yeah the air 2s might have better image quality but the mini 3 is so much easier to pack and take everywhere. plus the new obstacle avoidance is pretty sweet. i think people overstate the camera difference unless your doing professional work
