For windy conditions, I bump up to 1/500s minimum, sometimes even 1/1000s if it's really gusty. Remember your drone is constantly moving even when hovering, so faster is generally better for stills.

I had the same problem when I started! Try 1/750s as a sweet spot - fast enough to freeze movement but not so fast that you need crazy high ISO in decent light. Also make sure you're using tripod mode if your drone has it.

1/250s is definitely too slow for aerial work. I stick to the rule of 1/500s minimum for drone photography. If you're still getting blur at faster speeds, check if your gimbal stabilization is working properly.

I'm still learning manual camera settings on my drone and keep getting blurry photos when it's windy. I know depth of field isn't really an issue for aerial shots, but what shutter speeds do you all use to get sharp images? Currently using 1/250s but wondering if I need to go faster?
