so ive had the Mini 4 Pro since last spring and figured id write up some actual thoughts since most reviews out there are either sponsored garbage or from people who flew it twice in their backyard and called it a day
the good stuff first ? obstacle avoidance is genuinely useful, not just a marketing thing. ive had it save itself a couple times in tighter spots where i was being lazy with stick inputs. the omnidirectional sensors are way better than what was on the Mini 3 Pro, that thing had blind spots that got me nervous. footage quality is really solid for the size, the 4K at 100fps slow mo is something i use all the time now
the not so great stuff ? battery life is fine but not amazing, i usually get around 28-30 mins of real flying in moderate wind which is decent but dont expect the 34 min DJI claims. also the RC2 controller i got with it has had a couple random disconnects that freak me out every time even though it reconnects fast. and honestly the price point with the fly more combo is just a lot of money for what it is
would i buy it again? probably yeah. but id really think hard about whether you actually need the obs avoidance and the slow mo because if you dont the Mini 3 Pro can be found for way cheaper now and its still a really capable drone. anyone else been flying one long term? curious if the RC2 disconnect thing is just mine or a wider issue
