ok so ive been using litchi for probably two years now and generally like it but a buddy of mine keeps telling me to switch to dronelink and honestly i dont see what the big deal is. like yes dronelink has the orbit and helix stuff built in more cleanly but for basic waypoint planning i feel like litchi's mission hub on the browser is just... fine? maybe even better because i can plan on my laptop and then sync it to the app without dealing with a janky mobile interface

the thing that finally got me looking at alternatives is that litchi hasn't updated for my mini 4 pro properly and some of the altitude behaviors are acting weird since the last firmware push. camera tilt commands mid-waypoint just dont execute reliably and i cant tell if thats a litchi bug or something changed on DJI's end with the sdk. anyone else seeing this or is it just my unit

not really looking to pay for another subscription right now but if dronelink actually fixes the waypoint camera tilt issue im open to it

the camera tilt thing on litchi with mini 4 pro has been reported a bunch over on the litchi facebook group, pretty sure it broke with the.700 firmware update. someone in that thread said litchi acknowledged it but theres been no patch yet. dronelink handles it differently through their action system so you might actually have better luck there, but yeah its another subscription which is annoying

personally i use both depending on the job. litchi for simple point-to-point stuff where i know the route cold, dronelink when i need more complex camera moves or if im doing a multi-battery mission with resume. the dronelink mobile interface isnt as bad as it used to be tbh, they've cleaned it up over the past few updates

wait litchi doesn't support mini 4 pro fully yet? i was literally about to buy one assuming all my existing missions would transfer over. thats kind of a dealbreaker for me if the waypoint behavior is unreliable
