so ive been dealing with this for like three weeks now and its driving me insane. im flying a mavic 3 classic and somewhere between 300-500m out it just drops the video feed and sometimes the RC link entirely. doesnt matter what direction im facing or how high i am, just randomly cuts out then reconnects a few seconds later. sometimes it doesnt reconnect at all and the RTH kicks in.

i fly mostly in a semi rural area, some power lines maybe 200m away but ive been flying the same spots for over a year with no issues until recently. updated the firmware a few weeks ago which is around when this started but i cant be sure thats the cause. anyone dealt with something similar or know where i'd even start narrowing this down

firmware rollback would be my first move honestly. dji has pushed some updates that messed with signal behavior before, wouldnt be the first time. if you go back one version and the problem goes away thats your answer. if it doesnt then you're probably looking at interference or a hardware issue with the RC or the aircraft antenna.

also worth checking if there's been any new wifi infrastructure near your flying spot. a neighbor putting in a mesh network or a new cell tower going up can change things pretty dramatically, especially if you're on 2.4ghz. try forcing 5.8 if you havent and see if the pattern changes at all.

had almost the exact same thing happen with my air 2s a while back, turned out one of the antennas on the aircraft itself had a loose connection internally. you could see it in the signal graph in the DJI app, one bar would just drop way lower than the other during flight. had to send it in. worth checking if your signal bars are balanced between the two antennas or if one looks weaker than the other
