so i went out yesterday evening and just kind of stumbled into the best lighting ive ever had. wasnt even planning to fly, just had the mini 4 in the car and the sky was doing that whole orange pink thing so i figured why not. ended up with like 40 minutes of footage and honestly some of it is actually good i think??

dropped a short edit on youtube if anyone wants to take a look and tell me what im doing wrong lol. mostly fishing for feedback on my color grading because i feel like im either crushing the blacks too hard or the whole thing looks washed out, cant seem to find the middle ground. link in my profile.

watched it, the third clip where you pull back over the treeline is really nice. color grading honestly isnt bad, maybe just a tiny bit warm but thats kind of personal preference. my only real crit is the transitions feel a little rushed, like give each shot a second to breathe before you cut. otherwise solid stuff for a random spontaneous flight

sunset shots are always gonna look better than you think they do in the field lol. the lake reflection stuff is where its at, did you shoot in d-log or just standard? makes a big difference for grading later especially with those highlight rolloffs
