this might be a weird thing to say on a drone forum but i kind of stopped caring about the tech side of things a while back. like i used to obsess over sensor sizes and transmission range and all that stuff but now i just want to go fly and not think about it

had a conversation with a guy at the field last week who was going on and on about his new air 3s versus his old mavic and i just couldnt get into it the way i used to. maybe im getting old or maybe i just finally have a setup i like. idk. anyone else hit that point or is that just me rambling

honestly yeah. i went through a phase where i was reading every spec sheet and watching every review before buying anything and at some point i just... stopped. now i fly my 5 inch and thats pretty much it. the hobby got way more enjoyable when i quit chasing the next thing

im kind of the opposite tbh, im still new enough that the specs stuff is exciting to me. but i can totally see how that fades. my buddy who got me into this doesnt even know what firmware version hes on half the time and he flys way better than me so maybe theres something to what your saying
