yeah the FAA has a habit of tweaking the language without making any big announcement about it. from what i know the core broadcast requirement hasnt changed ? you still need to be transmitting your ID, takeoff location, real-time position, velocity, and a timestamp. but there was a small clarification earlier this year about modules that dont have a direct connection to the flight controller and how they handle GPS loss situations. if your module has its own GPS it should be fine but worth double checking the manufacturers documentation to see if they pushed a firmware update to address it

honestly the best thing to do is just check the FAA drone zone directly and look at the date stamp on the regulation page. if it changed recently it'll show there
