so i finally worked up the nerve to post one of my videos, just a short thing i shot flying around the park near my house, nothing fancy. within like two days someone commented saying the footage was shaky and that i clearly dont know how to use ND filters and honestly i didnt even know what ND filters were when i filmed it so yeah that tracks. someone else said the framing was off.

not really upset about it just kind of funny how brutal people are. does anyone elses footage look a little jittery when they first started out or is it something i messed up in settings, i have a dji air 2s and i just had everything on auto basically

yeah full auto on any drone is gonna give you inconsistent results, the camera is just chasing the exposure the whole time which makes the footage look nervous even if the drone itself is stable. the ND filter thing is real but dont let people make you feel bad about it, nobody figures that stuff out day one. look up the 180 degree shutter rule for drones and it'll make a lot more sense why those filters matter

also youtube comments are genuinely the worst, half those people have never posted anything themselves
