saw a flyer for it at the hobby shop and was thinking about heading out saturday morning. never been to one of these group things before, not sure what to expect. do people just show up and fly or is there like an organized thing going on? bringing my mini 3 pro probably, dont want to show up with something embarrassing lol

ive been to a few of those Ridgewood ones and honestly its pretty chill, no pressure or anything. people just show up, set up in the field and fly around, some guys bring FPV stuff some bring cinematic drones whatever. theres usually a cooler involved by like 10am. just dont be weird about it and youll have a good time, everyone there is pretty welcoming to newer folks

mini 3 pro is fine nobody cares what you bring trust me. i showed up to one last summer with a beat up mavic air and some dude had like a custom built 7 inch freestyle rig that cost more than my car, we still hung out and talked for like 2 hours. its more about the people than the gear
