okay so this has been driving me absolutely insane for the past two weeks. my DJI FPV drifts noticeably to the left in manual mode, not a huge amount but enough that i have to constantly correct and its ruining my flow when im trying to do longer freestyle lines. ive recalibrated the IMU probably four times now, redone the stick calibration, checked the props which all look fine, and re-bound everything. still does it.

its worse on days when its colder which made me think maybe a motor but the motor temps all seem fine after flying. doesnt do it in normal or sport mode which is weird to me, only shows up once im in manual. flying in an open field mostly, no interference issues that i can tell.

anyone dealt with this or have any idea what im missing here

manual mode on the DJI FPV bypasses a lot of the stabilization so any small imbalance that gets masked in normal/sport will show up. first thing id check is whether the props are actually balanced not just visually intact ? a prop that looks fine can still be slightly out and cause a drift bias. also worth checking if all four motors spin up to exactly the same speed, you can feel this by hand if you spin them gently, any grinding or resistance on one vs the others is a red flag. cold weather motor bearing issues are a thing too, had a motor on my old unit that was borderline fine in summer and sketchy below about 5 degrees.

this is probably gonna sound dumb but did you check the frame for any flex or a slightly bent arm? dropped mine once and it looked totally fine visually but there was like a 1-2mm bend in one arm that i only noticed when i put a straight edge against it. flew weird in acro for months before i figured it out lol
