so i was out doing a quick session, nothing crazy just some low passes over the field near my house, and this older guy walks up and asks me if im mapping the area for the government. like fully serious. i didnt really know what to say so i just showed him the fpv feed on my phone and he kinda relaxed after that. people man. had a good laugh about it later but in the moment it was a little awkward ngl. anybody else get weird interactions like this

oh this happens constantly. once had someone call the cops on me at a completely open public park, no restrictions nothing, and the cop that showed up actually knew more about part 107 than the person who called. cop was cool about it, we ended up chatting for like 10 minutes about drones. the caller was NOT happy lol

ive had a few people ask if i was spying on them which like... im filming a creek, relax. the government mapping thing is a new one though thats kinda funny
