anyone else here fly just for themselves and not post anything online

kinda random but i was thinking about this today. i fly pretty regularly but i never post on youtube or instagram or whatever and sometimes people act like thats weird? like my brother keeps saying i should start a channel but honestly i just enjoy going out and flying, i dont really care if anyone sees it. feels more relaxing that way without thinking about whether the shot is good enough or whatever. anyway just curious if thats a common thing or if most people are flying with content in mind

same honestly. tried posting for a few months and it just made flying feel like work. deleted everything and went back to flying for fun and its so much better. the whole "content creator" thing isnt for everyone and thats fine

I mean I get why people want to share stuff but I think there's definitely something to just flying for the experience. I keep my clips on a hard drive and sometimes show friends or family but that's about it. Though I will say organizing 4 years of footage with zero plan is kind of a nightmare so maybe some structure wouldnt have hurt haha
