so this has been driving me insane for about two weeks now. im flying my mini 3 pro and somewhere around 300-400m out it just... drops. not a full disconnect always, sometimes it comes back after a few seconds but sometimes i have to watch it sit there in hover waiting for RTH to kick in. no obstacles between me and the bird, open field, nothing.

ive tried recalibrating the compass, checked that nothing on my phone was running in the background hogging the wifi, even switched from 5.8 to 2.4ghz manually and it still happens. the RC-N1 signal bars just tank out of nowhere. starting to wonder if theres some interference in the area i cant see or if maybe the controller itself is having issues. anyone dealt with this before?

had something almost identical with my air 2s last summer and spent forever chasing it. turned out there was a cell tower they'd upgraded in the area and the 2.4ghz band was getting absolutely hammered. what fixed it for me was manually locking to a specific channel instead of letting it auto-select, and also making sure the antennas on the RC-N1 were oriented properly ? like perpendicular to the drone, people forget that actually matters a lot with those flat patch antennas.

also worth checking if there's any powerlines running through that area even underground, substations and transformers can mess with signal in weird ways that dont show up on any map. if you have access to a spectrum analyzer app even just on your phone it can give you a rough idea of whats crowding the band around you.

is your phone getting hot? i know that sounds dumb but mine was throttling the wifi radio when it overheated and it caused exactly this kind of thing. took me forever to figure out lol. also what phone are you using with the RC-N1?
