so i saw a post somewhere (maybe facebook?) that theres a group fly happening at Riverside park saturday morning, supposed to start around 9am. i dont know who organized it or if its an official club thing or just a casual meetup. anyone here going? i've been flying solo for like two years and never actually flown with other people before which is kind of weird when i think about it

yeah i saw that too, i think its the RC club that does it every few months, they usually have a pretty good turnout. last time i went there were maybe 15-20 people, mix of fixed wing guys and quad pilots. pretty chill, nobody being weird about what you fly. bring a folding chair if you have one because the standing around part between flights is real

oh man i wish i knew about this earlier, im like 40 mins from riverside. is it too late to just show up or do you have to register or something
