Gimbal calibration keeps failing - is this normal wear and tear?

  • Members

I've had my Mavic Air 2S for about 18 months now and lately the gimbal calibration keeps failing. The camera tilts slightly to one side during flight and I get "gimbal overload" warnings randomly.

I've tried the standard troubleshooting - placing it on a flat surface, cleaning around the gimbal, updating firmware. Nothing seems to work consistently.

At what point do you just accept that gimbals wear out? Or could this be something I can actually fix myself?
