been having this issue for a few weeks and its been bugging me. when im in manual mode on my Avata the thing has a pretty consistent drift to the left, not extreme but enough that i have to constantly correct and it throws off my shots. normal mode and sport mode seem fine or at least i dont notice it as much. did a full IMU calibration after the first time it happened and thought it fixed it but then it came back on my next session.

flying mostly in open fields so its probably not interference, wind was calm when i noticed it most. motors all spin up fine on the ground and i havent crashed it recently, last crash was maybe two months ago and it was pretty minor, just clipped some tall grass. anyone dealt with something like this or know if theres a setting im missing

check your motor screws first, even a minor crash can loosen one slightly and cause weird handling that only shows up under certain throttle conditions. also have you done a compass calibration in addition to the IMU? sometimes people do one and forget the other. the other thing id look at is whether your props are all the same generation and properly seated, mixing old and new props can introduce subtle asymmetry that you really only feel in manual where there's no stabilization masking it

had almost the exact same thing happen and for me it turned out to be one prop that had a tiny crack near the hub, couldnt really see it without really looking closely. swapped all four props out and the drift was gone. the Avata props are pretty cheap to replace so worth just trying a full set swap before going deeper into calibrations and settings rabbit holes. also if the grass clip bent a prop even slightly thats enough to cause this kind of thing
