EVO Nano+ keeps losing connection randomly, not sure whats going on

so this has been happening for a few weeks now and i cant figure out if its the drone, the controller, or just where im flying. basically im out, everything is fine, and then the video feed just drops for like 5-10 seconds and comes back. the drone doesnt return to home or anything it just kind of... hangs there and reconnects. its happened maybe 6 or 7 times now in different locations so im not sure its an interference thing.

checked the firmware and its up to date. tried reinstalling the app too. i fly mostly in open suburban areas nothing crazy. the range has never actually been a problem its usually happening when im like 200 feet away which feels like it shouldnt be an issue at all.

anybody dealt with this? im wondering if somthing is up with the controller itself because it feels like the signal strength display doesnt always match what im actually experiencing.

had something similar on my Nano+ a while back and it turned out my phone was the culprit ? it kept trying to switch between wifi networks mid-flight which was messing with the connection. if youre using your phone as part of the setup make sure wifi is completely off and only using the controller's own link. sounds obvious but it got me for a while.

also worth checking if theres anything running in the background on your phone eating up resources, the app doesnt always play nice when the phones doing other stuff at the same time.

the signal strength indicator on those is kind of useless in my experience, doesnt really reflect whats actually happening. could also be a loose antenna connection inside the controller but thats harder to diagnose without opening it up. if its still under warranty id honestly just contact Autel support, they're actually pretty decent compared to some others ive dealt with, at least they respond.
