so i had nothing going on yesterday afternoon and just grabbed my mavic and drove to this empty field near my house. no plan, no shots in mind, just flew around for like 45 minutes doing nothing in particular. kept the camera mostly pointed at the ground watching my own shadow lol. honestly one of the best sessions ive had in a while, no pressure to get anything good

anyone else do this or is it just me being weird

yeah man this is basically my whole hobby at this point. i stopped trying to make "content" months ago and now i just go out whenever the wind is decent and mess around. flew through some trees last week for like an hour just vibing. way less stressful than trying to get the perfect shot for nobody to watch anyway

I do this with my mini 3 all the time. Ive been flying for like 8 months and honestly most of my flights are just me hovering over random stuff and looking around. Flew over the parking lot at work once just to see what cars were there lol. Its like a weird meditation thing almost
