Mini 4 Pro firmware update bricked my return to home settings??

ok so this is frustrating. updated the Mini 4 Pro firmware last night through the DJI Fly app, it was the one that just dropped, and now my RTH altitude is just... gone? like it shows a value but when i actually arm the thing and check the behavior in a controlled test hover in my backyard it doesnt seem to be respecting it. set it to 40m and it came back at maybe 15-20m which is fine in my yard but i have trees on my usual flying site that would absolutely wreck it.

also noticed the obstacle avoidance sensitivity seemed to reset to default which is whatever i can fix that, but the RTH thing is actually concerning me. anyone else seeing this after the update or am i just going crazy. i did a full power cycle, checked the settings again, they look right in the app but something feels off.

gonna hold off flying anywhere that actually matters until i figure this out. just annoying because i had a shoot planned for this weekend.

yeah firmware updates resetting stuff is like a rite of passage with DJI at this point lol. every single major update i do i go through every single setting manually afterwards like im doing a preflight checklist. RTH altitude, home point behavior, obstacle avoidance, max altitude, all of it. takes maybe 5 minutes but its saved me from headaches more than once.

not sure if your RTH is actually broken or if the app just isnt displaying what the aircraft actually has stored, sometimes theres a sync delay or it shows cached values. try setting it again, closing the app completely, restarting the controller and aircraft, then opening back up and checking. if its still wrong after that then yeah id post in the DJI forum because thats a legit bug.

had something similar weirdly not with RTH but with max speed getting reset after an update on my Air 2S a while back. never figured out if it was the app or the drone holding the setting. ended up just doing a full refresh of the firmware through the assistant software on PC instead of through the app and that seemed to sort it out. might be worth trying if the app route isnt sticking. also back up your settings if you can before you do anything drastic, pretty sure DJI Fly has an export option buried in there somewhere though i cant remeber exactly where off the top of my head.
