I'm getting ready to buy my first Mini 4 Pro and trying to decide between the standard Intelligent Flight Battery and the Plus version. I mainly shoot real estate photography and sometimes longer landscape sessions.

My concerns:

• Will the Plus battery push the drone over 250g and require registration?
• Is the extra flight time worth the potential registration hassle?
• How much difference in flight time are we actually talking about?

For those who have both, which do you find more practical for general use?

The standard battery gives up to 34 minutes flight time, while the Plus version extends that to around 45 minutes. However, the Plus battery can push certain models above the 250g threshold, so it's a trade-off between flight time and compliance. For real estate work, I'd definitely go with the Plus - those extra 10+ minutes make a huge difference.

I shoot real estate too and honestly, the standard battery is plenty for most properties. The standard battery provides an ideal balance of light weight, performance, and convenience for casual flyers. You can always buy a second standard battery later and have two 34-minute sessions instead of one longer flight.

Just weigh your setup before you fly! I have both batteries and the Mini 4 Pro with the Plus battery is right at the edge. Check your local regulations because some countries require registration even if you're slightly over 250g. For landscape work where you're flying in remote areas, the Plus is amazing.
