so my buddy told me theres a fly-in happening at lakeside park on the 14th, apparently the local club organizes it every couple months. ive never been to one of these things before and not sure what to expect. do people just show up and fly or is there like a schedule or judges or whatever. also wondering if its worth dragging out the whole kit or if i should just bring one bird

ive been to a few of those lakeside ones, theyre pretty chill. no judges or anything formal, people just set up in the grass and fly whenever. usually somebody brings a canopy and there's a lot of standing around talking gear honestly. bring whatever you want to fly, half the fun is just watching other peoples setups.

oh wait is this the AMA club one? i went last time and it was cool but parking was a nightmare lol. bring snacks thats my only advice
