this is kind of a weird one but i was at a work thing last week and someone asked about hobbies and i kind of hesitated before saying drones. feels like half the time people either think youre some kind of surveillance creep or they get weirdly impressed and ask a million questions you dont feel like answering at a party you know

curious if anyone else just kind of keeps it to themselves or if you embrace it fully. my girlfriend thinks its cool but most of my coworkers definitely gave me a look when i mentioned it

yeah i pretty much stopped bringing it up unless someone asks directly. too many conversations that start with "do you spy on people" and honestly i just dont have the energy anymore to explain that no i fly over fields and rivers and nobody cares about their backyard

i tell everyone lol i dont care. showed my boss some of the footage i got over the lake last summer and now hes thinking about getting into it too so sometimes it works out. depends on the crowd i guess but im not ashamed of it at all its a legitimate thing
