heard there's a informal fly-in happening at reeds lake saturday morning, someone on facebook mentioned it but the post was pretty vague about timing. i think its around 9am but dont quote me on that. been wanting to meet some local pilots for a while now, been flying solo for like two years and its getting kinda boring honestly. anyone here from the west michigan area going or know more details about it?

yeah i saw that post too, i think the guy organizing it is Marcus from the GR drone club. he usually does these every couple months when the weather cooperates. last one was at the park by the highway which was fine but reeds lake is way better for fpv if you stay on the east side. just show up around 9 and youll find people, its never super formal just a bunch of dudes flying and chatting, sometimes someone brings a cooler lol

oh man i didnt know about this, is it open to beginners? i just got my mini 3 like a month ago and i can fly okay but im definitely not pulling off any crazy stuff yet. would feel kinda weird showing up if everyones doing acro and stuff
