ive been going back and forth on this for weeks and i just need someone to tell me what to do basically. looking at tiny whoop stuff for indoor flying, small apartment, maybe some outdoor in calm conditions. budget is pretty tight so im looking at the sub $150 range for a ready to fly type setup

BetaFPV seems more polished from what i can tell, their meteor series gets decent reviews but happymodel moblite stuff looks really interesting too and seems lighter which i assume matters for indoor. the thing is i cant really find a solid comparison that isnt from like 2021 and a lot has changed with the expresslrs stuff rolling out on these smaller quads

anyone running either of these recently? mostly care about flight time, durability, and whether the stock VTX is actually usable or if im going to need to swap it out immediately

had a moblite7 for a while and it was genuinely fun but fragile. snapped an arm on my third or fourth flight just from clipping a doorframe not even that hard. the stock camera is meh but flyable. betafpv meteor65 pro i think is more durable from what my friend says who has one, he's been running it for months with just prop replacements

the elrs versions of both are worth getting over the frsky ones at this point imo, latency is way better and the range headroom is nice even if you dont need it indoors. stock vtx on both is fine for a small space, analog obviously but its not terrible

dont overlook emax too, the tinyhawk series has been around long enough that theres tons of support and parts are easy to find. betafpv support has gotten better but i had a weird experience with a warranty claim a while back that left a bad taste. happymodel i honestly dont know much about their current stuff. if youre on a tight budget the tinyhawk 2 freestyle is worth a look, its a bit bigger than a whoop but tanks hits better than anything in that price range ive tried
