so this is kind of embarrassing but i was out at a state park last weekend and i had already set up and was about to take off when someone walking by mentioned that there might be a TFR or something in the area because of some event happening nearby. i checked my app (DJI fly) and it showed the area as clear but the guy seemed pretty sure about it. i ended up not flying just to be safe but i went home and checked and there was actually a temporary flight restriction up that the app hadnt updated yet or something.
like how often does this happen and is there a better way to check before i drive out somewhere. i feel like i cant fully trust the app anymore which is kind of a problem because thats what i rely on. also does flying in an accidental TFR actually get you in serious trouble or is it more of a warning situation if it was clearly not intentional
