so its been super gusty here all week, like sustained 25mph with gusts way higher and i just keep staring at my mini 3 sitting in its case. ended up just watching old fpv footage i shot last summer and honestly that made it worse lol. anyone else just find random stuff to do when the weather kills your plans or do you actually go out and try anyway

honestly i just use the time to mess with betaflight or update firmware on stuff that i keep putting off. last wind stretch i finally figured out my pid tuning was totally off on my 5inch and it flies so much better now. also cleaned my goggles which ive been meaning to do for like three months

i went out anyway last tuesday and regretted it, wind got my mavic way off to the side and i panicked and almost lost orientation. came home fine but my heart was going. probably not worth it tbh
