so ive been seeing more and more posts on reddit and a couple other forums about people actually getting stopped and asked about remote ID compliance. like actual enforcement, not just the rule existing on paper. had a buddy fly at a local park last weekend and someone from the county came over asking questions, wasnt sure if they were actually FAA or just a local parks person but still, felt different than it used to be.
im running a module on my older 5inch so im technically covered but honestly i still dont fully understand what they can and cant do if you get flagged. like can they actually fine you on the spot or does it go through some other process? and what happens if your broadcast module cuts out mid flight, is that on you automatically?
not trying to be paranoid just feels like the vibe around flying in public spots has shifted lately and curious if others are noticing the same thing
