finally pulled the trigger on a prebuilt, was the Diatone Roma F5 the right call?

so ive been building my own 5inch quads for about 3 years now and honestly just got tired of the whole process. sourcing parts, waiting on aliexpress, something always going wrong on the bench. decided to just buy something ready to fly and after like two weeks of reading threads and watching videos i landed on the Diatone Roma F5 V2.
got it about a month ago now and overall im pretty happy but its not without its quirks. the factory tune is... okay. it feels a bit mushy in freestyle and the filters are clearly set conservative which i get, they dont know what props youre gonna throw on it. ive been running Gemfan 51466 on it and after some filter tweaking and adjusting the master multiplier it feels a lot better. still not exactly where i want it but getting there.
my main question is for people who also went prebuilt after building their own ? do you feel like you gave something up or was it worth it. also curious if anyone has compared the Roma F5 to the iFlight Nazgul or the BetaFPV Aquila or whatever else is in that price range. i know the Nazgul has been around longer and has more community support which is part of why i almost went that way.
