not really a question just curious. i have this one reservoir about 20 mins from my house and i have probably flown there like 40 times at this point. something about the way the light hits the water in the evening just never gets old to me. my wife thinks im crazy for going to the same place over and over but i dunno, i always come back with at least one shot i really like.

feels like i know that spot better than anywhere else now, know exactly where to be at what time of day. anyone else do this or do most people constantly chase new locations

yeah theres a old rail bridge near me i keep going back to. been there probably 30 times and i still havent gotten the shot i have in my head. keeps me coming back i guess

I used to be all about finding new spots but honestly after a while you realize you cant really nail a location on the first visit anyway. the guys who know one spot really well always seem to get better stuff than people who are constantly moving around chasing something new. theres something to be said for it
