been trying to figure this out for weeks and i keep going in circles. im a pretty casual flyer, mostly do travel stuff, landscapes, the occasional family gathering video. dont need anything super professional. the Nano+ is obviously smaller and cheaper but i keep reading that the Lite+ image quality is noticeably better and i dont know how much that actually matters for what im doing.

also the whole under 250g thing with the Nano is appealing but im not entirely sure how much that realistically changes things for where i travel. some places its all the same rules regardless i think? anyway if anyone has flown both or even just one of them and has thoughts id appreciate it, getting a little tired of reading spec comparisons that dont tell you what it actually feels like to use one

had the Lite+ for about 8 months and took it to Portugal and Costa Rica and it handled both really well. image quality is genuinely good for a drone in that size class, the variable aperture is something you dont realize you want until you have it. wind handling is also better than you'd expect for how light it is.

that said the sub-250g thing really does matter in certain countries ? France for example has different rules for under 250 and it saved me some hassle. if you're going to places with stricter rules the Nano might actually be the smarter play even if you give up a little on image. depends where you're headed i guess

i went with the nano+ and honestly dont regret it for casual travel stuff, the photos look great to me and my family definitely cant tell the differnce lol. i think unless youre doing anything commercial or really pixel peeping the nano is probably fine. the size difference is actually pretty significant when youre stuffing it into a backpack for a long trip
