ok so this is embarasing but i spent like two weeks on what i thought was a really solid little travel video from a trip i did to the coast. phantom 4 footage mixed with some handheld stuff from my phone, had music synced up and everything. posted it and my uncle was literally the only person who watched it and he just said nice job

looking back at it now the drone shots are fine i think but the transitions are all over the place and i used way to many clips. its like 8 minutes long which i know is probably the problem. anyway if anyone wants to watch it and tell me whats actually wrong with it id appreciate it, trying to get better at the editing side more than the flying at this point

8 minutes is a lot yeah, most people click off drone edits after like 90 seconds unless theres a really strong narrative reason to keep watching. id say cut it down to 2-3 minutes max and be ruthless about which shots actually add something vs which ones are just there because you flew that day. the hardest part is cutting footage you worked for but its usually worth it

honestly same thing happened to me with my first one lol. drop the link though id watch it, i remember how it felt putting something out for the first time and getting nothing back. also dont stress too much about views early on its more about just getting reps in with the editing
