finally picked up an EVO Nano+ and have some questions about the camera settings

so ive been flying a mini 2 for about a year and decided to try something different, picked up the EVO Nano+ last week mostly because i wanted something that wasnt DJI for once and the price was pretty reasonable. overall im pretty happy with it but the camera app is throwing me off a little bit.

the Autel Sky app feels kinda clunky compared to DJI fly, like i cant figure out where they hid the manual exposure controls. i know its in there somewhere because ive seen people post footage with proper manual settings but i keep ending up in auto mode without meaning to. also the colors straight out of camera look a bit warm to me, is that normal or do i need to calibrate something. shooting in the autel raw format helps a little but id rather get it closer in camera if i can.

not a complaint really, the drone itself flies super solid and the obstacle avoidance actually surprised me for something this small. just trying to get the camera dialed in before i take it out for anything serious

the manual exposure stuff in sky app is a bit buried yeah, you have to tap the little camera icon on the left side of the screen and then swipe over to pro mode ? its not super obvious the first time. once youre in there you get full shutter, iso, white balance control. the white balance thing is probably whats making your footage look warm, try setting it manually to like 5600k and see if that helps. auto wb on these things tends to pull warmer than i like too.

and yeah the app isnt as polished as DJI Fly but i honestly dont mind it, gets the job done. the drone itself is worth the slight learning curve with the software imo

had the same warm color issue when i first got mine. shooting in the Autel log profile and doing a proper grade in post made a huge difference for me, straight out of camera colors are fine for casual stuff but if youre doing anything you actually want to look good log is the way to go on this thing. theres a free lut floating around on the Autel facebook group that someone made specifically for the Nano+ that i use as a starting point
