DJI Mini 2 won't take off - motors spin but no lift. What am I missing?

  • Members

Just got my Mini 2 and having a frustrating issue. The motors spin up fine when I push the throttle, but the drone won't actually leave the ground. All the lights look normal, GPS shows green, and the app says everything is connected properly.

I've tried in different locations thinking it might be a no-fly zone issue, but same problem. Has anyone else run into this? I'm probably missing something obvious as a beginner.

Before anything else, make sure you're not in a no-fly zone and check if there are any IMU or compass calibration issues. The app should show warnings if these need attention. Sometimes a simple restart of both drone and controller helps too.
