so ive had the EVO II Pro 6K for about three weeks now and figured id share some stuff since i spent forever reading forums before buying it and didnt find as much real-world info as i wanted
first off the image quality is genuinely impressive for the price point, the variable aperture is something i used constantly on my last camera and i was worried id miss it ? i dont. the 6K sensor gives you a ton of room to crop in post which is nice when you cant reposition for whatever reason
the Autel Sky app has gotten better but its still not as polished as DJI GO or whatever they're calling it now. its functional but sometimes it just feels a little clunky, like the waypoint stuff works fine but setting it up takes more taps than it should
obstacle avoidance is solid. not perfect but ive had it save me from a dumb moment near some tree branches once already so no complaints there
battery life is about what they advertise which honestly surprised me, usually those numbers are like best case scenario stuff but i was getting close to 35-36 minutes in calm conditions
anyone else running the smart controller with this? im debating grabbing one but not sure if the screen is bright enough for midday shoots
