saw a post on facebook about a fly-in happening at Riverside park on the 14th, looks like its been running for a few years but ive never been. wondering if its worth the drive, im about 90 minutes out. do people actually fly there or is it more of a show and tell kind of thing? last meetup i went to was mostly guys standing around talking about their builds which was fine but i was hoping to actually get some stick time in a group setting

i went two years ago, it was a mix of both honestly. morning was pretty chill flying, fixed wings mostly but a handful of quads too. afternoon got crowded and people kind of just hung around the tables. worth it if you're nearby but 90 min is a stretch unless you know people going
