honestly could be balance. firmware updates sometimes change how the motor tuning handles slight imbalance, stuff that the old firmware would compensate for aggressively might now drift more naturally

the ronin-s IMU calibration is super position-sensitive. when you do the auto cal, the gimbal needs to be on a completely flat stable surface and honestly i usually do it twice in a row just to make s
yeah this has been bugging me for a while and i finally have time to post about it. updated the ronin-s firmware a few weeks ago because i was having bluetooth connection issues with the app, that got fixed but now i have this slow creeping drift to the left on the roll axis. its not instant, like if i hold still it looks fine but after maybe 30 seconds of flying it just slowly tilts and i have to re-center it manually.
ive done the auto calibration like three times. the camera setup hasnt changed, same a7iii same lens ive been using for a year. its not a huge deal for quick shots but for any longer push-in moves its completely unusable. feels like an IMU issue but idk if the firmware broke something or if this is a balance thing that i maybe didnt notice before
anyone else on the newer firmware having this? or is it definitely a recalibration thing
