so ive been flying for about 8 months now mostly calm days in sport mode on my fpv freestyle build and i feel pretty solid on those days. but anytime there's any real wind ? like even 12-15mph ? i feel like im just reacting constantly instead of actually flying. like i'll set up for a dive and then get pushed sideways and have to over-correct and the whole line goes to garbage.
ive heard people say you should "fly the wind" but i honestly dont know what that actually means in practice. do you preemptively lean into gusts or do you just let the quad handle it and make small corrections? im running a 5inch with betaflight, filters are tuned decently i think, rates are like 600 deg/s on roll and pitch. not sure if this is a tune thing or just a skill thing or both. any thoughts would help
