so ive been flying for maybe 3 weeks now and something is bugging me. when i take my thumbs off the sticks the drone doesnt really just... stop. it kind of keeps moving a little in whatever direction it was going. im flying in the backyard so its not super windy or anything. is this normal or is something wrong with my controller. i have the holy stone thing, the hs720 i think. maybe its a calibration thing? i dont really know what im doing honestly, still very much learning

that actually sounds pretty normal for a budget drone in GPS mode, they dont have the same hold as something like a dji. could also be stick deadzone issues where the sticks arent perfectly centered, you can sometimes calibrate that in the app. but also just wind even light wind you might not notice on the ground can push it around up there. how high are you flying when this happens

i had a holy stone for a bit before i upgraded and yeah mine did the same thing. honestly i think its just how those fly, the gps positioning isnt super tight. if your flying in attitude mode or atti mode it'll drift even more because theres no gps holding it in place at all. check what mode your in, theres usually a switch on the controller for it. took me forever to figure that out on mine
