first time actually landing a splitS into a gap, had to tell someone

ok so this probably sounds dumb but i been trying to thread this gap between two trees at my local spot for like honestly two months. its not even that tight a gap but the splitS entry made it feel impossible because you're inverted right as you hit it and i kept either pulling out too late or clipping the left tree on the exit.

went out this morning, wasnt even planning to try it again, just doing laps to work on my flow and then i just kind of went for it without overthinking and it clicked. went through clean, recovered low to the ground, felt absolutely unreal. flew around yelling to nobody for a solid minute after.

idk i guess the advice about just flying more and not drilling the same trick over and over actually works. my tune is nothing special btw, stock-ish betaflight on a 5inch toothpick type build with some deadband adjustments i found on here

dude yess this is the kind of post i come here for. im still struggling with basic power loops without bouncing off the ground at the bottom but stuff like this keeps me motivated. what toothpick frame you on? im looking at moving down from a full 5inch to something lighter for park flying
