so i finally pulled the trigger and built my first proper 5inch after flying a bunch of prebuilt stuff for like a year and a half. running a stack i probably shouldnt have picked for a first build - HGLRC F722 with the 45A ESC stack, T-Motor F60 Pro IV 2400kv motors, and a Foxeer Razer frame i got on sale. props are HQ 5149s for now.
betaflight is just... a lot. ive watched maybe 8 hours of joshua bardwell videos and i think i understand what RPM filter is supposed to do but every time i touch the filter settings it either sounds like a lawnmower or goes completely limp on the throttle. im running stock PIDs right now because i was told thats the right starting point before you actually fly it but the thing wobbles on fast rolls and i cant tell if thats a PID issue or if my motor screws are loose or what
also is dshot600 actually better than dshot300 for this setup or does it not matter at all at my skill level. asking because i saw conflicting stuff on reddit
