So this happened maybe three hours ago and im still a bit shaken honestly. Was out doing some shots over a local reservoir, nothing crazy, maybe 400 meters out and probably 80 meters up. Flying my Air 3 which ive had for about six months with zero issues. All of a sudden the feed just cuts, RC 2 goes grey, and im standing there with my heart in my throat.
RTH kicked in automatically which i was very glad i had configured properly beforehand, it came back fine and landed about 2 meters from where i took off. Checked the logs afterwards and it looks like there was some kind of signal interference spike but i honestly have no idea what caused it. There were no power lines i could see, no obvious RF sources. Has anyone had this happen? im wondering if its worth digging into the signal settings or if this is just one of those things that happens sometimes.
