I've been using DroneDeploy for automated mapping missions, but I'm considering switching to either UgCS or Litchi for more control. DroneDeploy works great for straightforward grid patterns, but I need better terrain following and waypoint customization for infrastructure inspections. UgCS offers industry-leading terrain following algorithms with adjustable resolution and Smart AGL for near-vertical surfaces, while Litchi supports up to 99 waypoints per route with programmable gimbal tilts and Focus mode. Anyone made this transition? What are the real-world differences in mission reliability and data quality?
