okay so after months of using a simulator and flying a tiny borrowed brushed quad in my backyard im finally pulling the trigger on my first real micro build. been going back and forth on whether to just grab a prebuilt Mobula7 or Cinewhoop something from BetaFPV or just buy the parts and assemble the Happymodel Mobula6 ELRS version myself
i know these are both budget brands and thats fine, im not trying to run O3 on my first whoop lol. analog is totally fine for now. main thing im trying to figure out is whether the quality difference between BetaFPV and Happymodel is actually noticeable or if its more like a wash at this price point. ive read some stuff about Happymodel ESCs having issues but that was from like 2021 threads so maybe theyve sorted it out
also partially wondering if i should just buy the prebuilt instead of assembling since my soldering is honestly not super confident yet. the gap between a prebuilt and a kit at this tier isnt huge money wise
