ok so ive been going back and forth on this for like two weeks and i cant make up my mind. my budget is around $750 and i mostly want to shoot some travel footage, maybe some real estate stuff on the side for a friend who does listings. i dont really need anything crazy professional but i want something that actually looks good on a screen bigger than a phone.

the Nano+ seems like the obvious pick for portability but then i read somewhere that the Lite+ sensor is noticeably better in low light and i do sometimes fly in the evenings or golden hour situations. the weight difference between them honestly doesnt matter that much to me since im already going to have a bag anyway.

anyone here actually used both or switched from one to the other? would love to hear from people who actually fly these things rather than just reading specs on a page

had the Nano+ for about 8 months before i got the Lite+ and honestly the sensor upgrade is real, its not just marketing. the Nano+ is fine in good daylight but once you start pushing it past like 4pm in autumn or shooting in any kind of shade the noise gets pretty visible, especially if you're color grading in post. the Lite+ with the variable aperture gives you a lot more flexibility in those tricky lighting situations.

for real estate i'd go Lite+ without hesitating. the extra size is genuinely not a big deal in a bag. only thing i'd say is make sure you get a couple extra batteries because the flight time feels short when you're actually trying to get shots done at a location.

i have the nano+ and i like it but tbh i sometimes wish i'd stretched to the lite+. the portability thing is kind of overrated if ur already carrying a bag like you said. either way autel's obstacle avoidance on both is pretty solid, way less stressful than my old mini was
