trying to decide between the Autel Evo Lite+ and mini 4 pro, cant make up my mind

ok so this has been going on for like 6 weeks now and i just need some outside opinions because ive read every comparison article out there and they all contradict each other

basically im a hobbyist, fly mostly landscape and some coastal stuff, not doing any commercial work. budget is around $700-800 USD. the autel keeps catching my eye because of the larger sensor and the no fly zone thing ? i travel a bit and the idea of not having to deal with DJI's geofencing headaches is honestly appealing. but then everyone says the DJI ecosystem is just so much more reliable and the mini 4 pro has better obstacle avoidance and software

the Autel also seems to have way less of a community around it which worries me a bit for when things go wrong. like if i have a question about something weird happening with a DJI product theres ten forum threads already answering it, with autel im not so sure

is the sensor difference actually noticeable in real world footage or is it one of those spec things that only matters on paper? genuinely torn here

I had the Evo Lite+ for about 8 months before switching back to DJI and honestly the sensor is nice but the software let me down more times than I'd like. firmware updates were slow and there were some quirks with the exposure in certain lighting conditions that drove me crazy. for landscapes the image quality is genuinely good though, low light is a real strength

the community thing you mentioned is real. not saying Autel is bad but when something weird happens at 6pm before a shoot you want answers fast and DJI forums just have more eyes on them. thats what eventually pushed me back

i dont know much about the autel but just wanted to say the geofencing thing with DJI isnt as bad as it used to be if you have a registered account and your certifications set up. still annoying sometimes but its manageable. coastal flying on the mini 4 pro has been great for me personally, the wind resistance is solid for its size
