been having a weird issue with the T40 for the past few weeks and cant figure out if its a hardware thing or something in the mission settings. basically im seeing uneven deposition on the left side of the swath, like the left nozzle set seems to be putting out more volume than the right even though the flow sensors are reading balanced in the app. had the agrochemical rep out last week and he actually confirmed it with WSP cards on a test plot which was validating at least but still doesnt tell me why.

ive checked the filters, swapped nozzles, recalibrated the pumps through the app like three times. flying at 3m AGL, 5m/s, standard 5L per acre rate. the T40 is about 8 months old, maybe 180 flight hours on it. terrain following is on. not sure if this is a pump wear issue or if theres something going on with the spray controller board. support has been pretty useless so far, keep getting told to recalibrate which ive obviously already done

had something similar on a T30 a while back and it turned out to be a partially collapsed internal hose on the left side ? visually looked totally fine but under pressure it was restricting flow just enough to skew the pattern. the flow sensors dont always catch that because theyre measuring at the pump outlet not at the boom. worth pulling the whole left side plumbing and inspecting every connection. its annoying to do but took us maybe an hour and that was the problem

this is probably a dumb question but are you accounting for wind at all during the test? even light crosswind at 3m AGL can make WSP card results look like a nozzle imbalance when its actually just drift. we learned that the hard way doing deposition studies and had to do all our card testing in under 5mph conditions to get clean data. if you already did that ignore me lol
